St. Patrick’s Day

Who doesn’t enjoy seeing a rainbow? Not me. I love them. In fact, we see a lot of them in the Spring and Summer times around Colorado Springs. Angel Food

Angel Food cake is one of my favorites. In fact, it is my birthday cake. I love it. It’s light and goes well with fruit and cream or chocolate fondue. The chocolate angel food is just as light. There is a hint of cocoa for a different take on the traditional vanilla angel food.

Strawberry Cake

Strawberry Cake with strawberry icing. This is a super sweet and moist cake. I made this one in a bundt and topped it with the icing. My oldest daughter requests this every year for her birthday cake. Strawberries are her favorite and this cake is full of strawberry flavor.

Going Bananas!

White Chocolate

This cake is so yummy and surprisingly light. Three layers of white chocolate cake with raspberry filling and white chocolate icing. The raspberry filling adds a light fruity flavor to the cake. I also decorated with white chocolate curls. Go here for more basic cakes.
